During the conference, plenary sessions were organized on the following four subjects:

3. "Hindi Ke Prachar Mein Swaichhik Sansthaon Ki   Bhumika"

Exhibition

An exhibition on books and art was organized. All the books that were exhibited in the books exhibition were gifted to the Mahatma Gandhi Sansthan, after the conference.

Other Highlights

Three postage stamps of Mauritius were released.

 

A grand programme was organized on 31 August, 1976 in the memory of Indian migrants.

 

Foundation stone of the Building of the Sanatan Dharam Mandir Sangh, was laid by Dr. Karan Singh on 31 August, 1976 at Immigration Square, Port Louis.

 

Release of third part of the 'Tulsi Granthawali', published by Nagari Pracharini Sabha.

 

Inauguration of the "Triveni Building' at Bobose on 30 August by the Prime Minister of Mauritius.
